Introduced in 2006, Ahead's Black on Brass snare drums feature brass shells, Fat Cat snare wires, tube lugs, and S-Hoop hoops. The Ahead Black on Brass snare drums are available in three different sizes, either with Dunnett strainers or Trick strainers (extra cost).
New for 2007 are Ahead Chrome over Brass snare drums. With the same high quality features and a beautiful chrome finish the Ahead Chrome over Brass snare drums are well on their way to being the next big thing!
Also new for 2007 are two new 1-ply shell models, all with the same dazzling array of hardware features. The first new 1-ply model features a steam bent maple shell finished in Gun Metal Pearl. The second model features an African Exotic Wenge Stave shell.
