All Filter Chinas are made from the revolutionary FX9 alloy and feature a waved edge as well as a number of holes purposefully drilled into the cymbal. All of this causes a fast, sharp and almost sinister sound with an aggressive attack, yet maintaining a short sustain. Available in 8"", 10"", 12"", 14"", and 16"". ""Right now I am designing my new set for 2005, and all the different Filter Chinas will play a big role in this set-up and for my future sound."" explains Thomas.
