The New Aluminum OptiMount attaches to the tom's tension rods and floats on rubber cushions, providing ultimate stability while allowing the drum to resonate fully and freely. With OptiMount, the mounting hardware is completely removed from the drum shell providing a drastic improvement in resonance and sustain. This is the new style OptiMount that is used on the Masters & reference series drums.
