Yamaha applied their new metal shell manufacturing process to an all-new Copper shell to create a drum that cuts thru, but has a dark, warm tone and enhanced low end. Yamaha's Copper snare drums feature 1.5mm thick shells, 10 kugs, 2.3mm DynaHoops, and 20 strand snares.
